Back in Philly

A few things have happened. I went back to Savannah to visit Murphy for our two year anniversary and do some freelance work. The work mainly consisted of making a commercial portfolio for a ad agency with interactive menus and stuff like that. After I finished it I was to upload it to their servers. Now, has anyone tried to upload a 750Mb file before? It’s simply awful. So, after a few panic attacks, splitting the DVD disc image into seven parts, and sitting at the library with two laptops, I got it all uploaded.

So, as a tradition, Murphy and I take a yearly portrait in which we dress up all fancy and take a “historic” photo of us. Without any further ado, here it is:

two year

While I was down in Savannah I went to the famous St. Patrick’s Day parade. It was simply wild. I took a bunch of photos of people kissing, boozin ,and acting crazy, but I only took one photo I really liked. Sometimes unexpected things charm me, this is one.

It’s hard to take a photo where everyone’s has an interesting and expressive face.

I know I said I only had one, but here is another:

This photo brought a small smile to my face. I hope it does to yours.

My recent travels.

Ok, here it is:

Oklahoma to Savannah, Georgia

Savannah to Charlotte, North Carolina

Charlotte to Louisville, Kentucky

Louisville to Baltimore, Maryland

Maryland to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

I’m in Philly now, figuring out what to do next….(I have a few ideas.)

Let me share some photos.

While I was in Charlotte I was fortune enough to get to shoot Jonezetta (http://www.myspace.com/jonezetta).

Shooting this was hands down, the hardest shooting conditions I have ever shot it. hahaha There was virtually NO light. I got lucky if anyone was in focus. I got lucky.

A new website!

Chap Ambrose of ChapAmbrose.com made it.

I needed a website I could update, and worked in almost every browser. Now, I need to re-make my demo reel, the YouTube idea was fun, but their compression sucks. Anywho, I’m going to start blogging more.
