Dear Mellow Mushroom,
I regret to inform you that today ends the annual birthday at Mellow I have enjoyed the last 4 years. I’m way up in New York now, so I had a feeling I wouldn’t get to see you today. I miss you. Hell, I need you. I’m a mess without ya. I miss you so darn much. I miss being with you. I miss being near you! I miss your laugh! I miss – I miss your scent. I miss your musk. When this all gets sorted out, I think you and me should get an apartment together.
I worked today. It was actually very plesant. Turns out I have a job I enjoy going to, even on my birthday. I went to the roof and Lisa took the below photo for me. It’s going to be a present for my mom. Her birthday is Feb. 14th. (Look at the cover of Chris Thile’s album Deceiver)
So, thanks to all my friends who called me (and those who wrote on my “wall”) I love you all.

wow, that is an amazing photo! One to show the grandkids someday! I am sorry I didn’t call or write on your wall I was just that sick. I caught a virus in NY I am assuming the same one Sarah and Murphy have. I was in a fever comatose. Happy Birthday Josh Goleman you are half magic half amazing. I feel lucky to have you as a friend.
