Jared + Maria

You wouldn’t believe me from looking at my blog lately, but I shoot much more than weddings. haha. The problem is I keep having to sign non-disclosures on other projects I’m working on. Bummer. It’s good stuff I promise.

Blogging, e-mailing, and keeping up with everything I’ve been shooting lately has proven to a little too much. I work full-time for a photographer / mentor of mine, which has given me a long string of 14 hour work days. So, here’s to being 2 weeks behind in e-mails.

Anyways, a few weeks back I went down to the Isle of Hope, GA (Savannah, GA) to shoot Jared and Maria’s lovely wedding. Here are some selects.

On an unrelated note, I was on a big Stanley Kubrick kick a few months ago and was recently able to watch a fantastic documentary on his life and his films. Watching that and spending some time looking through his photo book Drama & Shadows has completely floored me. Is it possible to be too inspired? You know, so inspired by someone you just want to be quiet and not do anything.

  1. i love the archway shot! and the awesome aged effect all of your photos have….what kind of post processing do you do?

  2. i love the style and feel of your couples. so southern and so cool.

  3. That first Polaroid is a real winner.

  4. The way you are able to catch a wedding’s soul is unbelievable. I have never seen such powerful shoots like yours!
