A breakfast party in Philly from last weekend. We ate non-stop, played out of tune instruments, and napped when we felt like it. Definitely was one of the best weekends I’ve had in a long time, not to mention their apartment is a slice of heaven.

Last week was amazing. I went to LA with Danny to assist him at the Grammys which also happened to be the same weekend as my birthday.

So when someone wins a Grammy, they step backstage and Danny takes a nice portrait of them. It was great to be a fly on the wall and see it all in action. We had TV monitors backstage so we could see what is going on, which became surreal when the person who just won is standing next to you…getting their make-up touched up. Most winners were very sweet and excited to be there and were all about sharing some good ole’ fashioned excitement with us.

I was in LA for six days, lots happened, so I’ll save you the long stories and just share the photos.

Oh wait, on the morning of my birthday, I got to sit in and watch Radiohead rehearse to and empty Staples center. It was a big deal…




The night we got there, the Grammys put on a “Music in Focus” presentation, which highlighted three rock and roll photographers. After each showed photos and spoke, a musician came out and played a song. Lucinda Williams and Daniel Lanois played after Danny.
