As a big fan of street and documentary photographers like Garry Winogrand, Henri Cartier-Bresson, and Danny Lyon, I’ve been inspired to photograph New York City since I moved here. It’s proven to be difficult both technically and socially, but here is my first installment of what I hope becomes an ongoing collection of photographs, my NYC street journal. They seem oblivious to your camera, were you hiding a shutter release in your sleeve? I would be interested in seeing more black and white.
