I hung out with Gabe in Nashville in January this year as he was finishing writing his album, which took place in an RV that was parked friend’s backyard. A few months later he asked me back to document the recording. He pulled together some of the Cardinals (Ryan Adam’s backing band) as well as a few other amazingly talented musicians. Here are a few photographs from the session. They tracked everything live to tape and made look easy…pros.

I was hired to photograph Cymbals Eat Guitars for publicity for their new album entitled Lenses Alien which comes out in September. I was already a fan of the band, so it was a honor. Really talented guys.

I went down to New Orleans last week to shoot with the Preservation Hall Jazz band in an old cemetery. It’s always a privilege to work with them, but to shoot them during a traditional New Orleans funeral march was a whole new experience. Here are a few outtakes.
