I made it home for a few days to see my family then took off to Philly to spend Christmas with Murphy, Chap, and Maura.

Maura got a bunny.

Chap got some lego robot stuff.

We spent New Years at Adam’s parents house outside of Philly, where Chap fell asleep and Halli brought in the New Year with a time capsule accomplanied with an awesome ritual. Notice the hands showing 8 and Chap asleep?

The neighbor Farmer Scott turned 50 and his friends made a 12 foot portrait of him, along with 50 yard udders.

A good friend of mine started a small church in Tulsa, OK about three months ago. The church meets in a high school every Sunday and has about 120 people attending regularly, which to me is impressive. The church’s staff is made of four friends who volunteering their time every Sunday and arrive at the high school 3 hours early to set up. It was great to see the church get set up, everyone arrive, and stay afterwards to see it all broken down. It definitely gives you a good perspective of what goes into starting a church.
